Vitor Belfort has been forced out of the UFC 147 main event against Wanderlei Silva after breaking his hand in training last week.
Silva will still be fighting on the card as the UFC is searching for an opponent to replace Belfort for the June 23 event which will take place in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. That announcement can be expected any time.
Belfort had surgery on the broken hand over the weekend. There is no time table on his return to action.
