The UFC Bantamweight title will not be on the line this July at UFC 148 as Champion Dominick Cruz has been forced off the card due to an injury to his ACL.
Dana White has confirmed the injury via his Twitter account though no other information has been released.
The bout would have been the third time the two have fought with each fighter holding a win over the other.
It is unknown right now if Faber will still fight on the July 7th card or if he will be waiting out the injury to Cruz.
