Frank Mir Injured, Out Of Fight Against Daniel Cormier

The one and done deal that would have seen Frank Mir move over to Strikeforce to face the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix winner Daniel Cormier appears to be done before it ever happened.

The fight was pegged for the November 3rd event in Oklahoma City, Okla.

Mir has been forced out of the fight due to an injury suffered in training. Sports Rage first caught wind of the fight cancellation. It was to be the last heavyweight fight under the Strikeforce brand before they folded the division.

No word on if a replacement opponent will be announced for Cormier or if he will just move to a future UFC card.
