A welterweight bout between Jon Fitch and Erick Silva has been verbally agreed to according to sources close to both fighters.
Ariel Helwani with MMAFighting.com has learned that the two welterweights will collide at UFC 153 which is scheduled to take place in Brazil on October 13th.
Fitch was pegged to face Aaron Simpson but a knee injury forced him out of the fight paving the way for rising star Silva to face one of the divisions top fighters.
