UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones had previously spoke about someday signing a deal with sports apparel giant NIKE and it now it appears that has happened as Jones tweeted the news last night:
“Blessed to be signed by the biggest sports apparel company in the world #NIKE Dreams do come true.”
Jones joins a long list of elite athletes across the major sports spectrum who are or at some point in their career have been sponsored by NIKE. Some of those include Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Bo Jackson, Ken Griffey Jr., Kobe Bryant, and also UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva.
More information on the deal can be expected over the coming days.
