It's been another hectic day at UFC central as it has now been revealed that the UFC 153 main event between Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar is now off due to a foot injury suffered by Aldo in training.

Ironically enough, Aldo had been initially scheduled to face Erik Koch but Koch was forced out of the title fight with an injury. The UFC has not announced if Edgar will stay on the card.

The news comes just hours after UFC President Dana White announced that Quinton Jackson will also be unable to fight in Brazil as he has been injured and is now out of a light heavyweight bout against Glover Teixeira.

White tweeted about the Aldo injury “Now Aldo is out with foot injury. Main and co main in the same day!! Another amazing day at the UFC. We have some work to do”
