After an impressive finish of Antonio Silva at UFC 146 this past weekend, Cain Velasquez appears to have earned himself a rematch against Junior Dos Santos after Dos Santos also disposed of his opponent, Frank Mir.

UFC President Dana White was asked about the possibility of the two winners matching up and was into the fight:

“I think it's a good idea,” White told MMAjunkie.com. “I like it.”

White then all but confirmed the fight later on during an interview on FUEL TV:

“That's what's next. Not only did (Velasquez) look good (against Antonio Silva), he looked lean. Well, he was undefeated. He was an undefeated champion, he wins a fight, and he gets another shot at Junior.”
