Since moving back to the UFC's lightweight division, Nate Diaz has gone 2-0 and picked up impressive wins in both outings, the first a submission of the night win over Takanori Gomi last September and a fight of the night win against Donald Cerrone in December.

Diaz will be back in the cage this weekend when he faces Jim Miller at UFC on FOX 3 and according to UFC President Dana White, Diaz finds himself in a position to move up the divisions ladder and into a possible title shot situation with a big win:

“If Diaz wins, he gets a title shot; if Miller wins, he is probably still a fight or two away,” White told MMAWeekly.com this week.

As for the title it's self, current champ Ben Henderson will be defending against Frankie Edgar later this summer which opens the door for another title defense later in 2012, possibly against Diaz.
