Pat Miletich To Be Inducted Into The UFC Hall Of Fame At UFC Fan Expo

It looks like MMA legend Pat Miletich will be inducted into the UFC Hall Of Fame at the UFC Fan Expo on July 6th in Las Vegas, Nevada. The official event page for the UFC Fan Expo 14 lists “Pat Miletich Hall of Fame Induction” as an event next Saturday (view here).

During his UFC career, Miletich had a run with what ended up being the UFC Welterweight Championship, going 8-2 in his career with the company, dropping bouts to Carlos Newton (who beat him for the title) and Matt Lindland. Miletich, who last fought in December of 2008 (a second-round knockout victory over Thomas Denny) finished his career with a 29-7 professional MMA record.

It was after Miletich’s active career, however, that he really made a mark on the modern UFC scene. At one point, his camp — Miletich Fighting Systems — was the premiere training team in the sport, as the camp produced a number of UFC World Champions, including Tim Sylvia (Heavyweight), Matt Hughes (Welterweight) and Jens Pulver (Lightweight).
