Rothwell, Browne, Yagin & Hominick Earn UFC 145 Bonus Awards

UFC 145 is officially in the books. Jon Jones is still the undisputed light heavyweight champion, Rory MacDonald still looks to be poised for a run at the title somewhere down the line and Ben Rothwell proved that an old (in regards to experience, not age, technically) dog can still bring a big bite into the cage.

So, who took home the $65,000 bonus awards for the evening?

The aforementioned Rothwell picked up an additional check for his brutal finish of Brendan Schaub. “Big” Ben is now $65,000 richer courtesy of a vicious hook that led to the “Knockout of the Night” bonus. Travis Browne earned the “Submission of the Night” nod (the only submission of the evening might I add) for his first round arm-triangle choke finish over former Strikeforce stud, Chad Griggs, while Mark Hominick and Eddie Yagin added to their cash roll with “Fight of the Night” honors after waging war upon one another for three scintillating rounds.
