UFC 149 Update: Thiago Alves And Thiago Silva Both Out With Injuries

Injuries too both Thiago Alves and Thiago Silva have shaken up July 21st's UFC 149. Silva injured his back in training while the extent of Alves injury is not known.

Silva had been penciled in to fight Mauricio “Shogun” Rua in the co-main event slot. No opponent has been named as a replacement though Glover Teixeira has been rumored.

Siyar Bahadurzada now finds himself without an opponent as well for the promotions Calgary, AB debut.

The updated card is as follows:
